What you'll learn through practical work
This program focuses on real implementation of AI capabilities inside mobile applications. You work with frameworks that handle machine learning models on devices, connect to cloud-based AI services, and build interfaces that respond to predictions in real time.
Participants build six complete applications during the program. Each project introduces different AI techniques — image recognition in one, natural language processing in another, recommendation systems in a third. The final project combines multiple AI components into one cohesive application.
Sessions are structured around building, testing, and debugging. Code reviews happen twice per week. Instructors demonstrate integration patterns, participants implement them, and the group discusses what works and what causes problems.
Vision and Recognition
Implement camera-based AI features. Work with CoreML and TensorFlow Lite to run image classification and object detection directly on devices.
Language Processing
Integrate text analysis and generation APIs. Build chat interfaces that connect to language models and handle context across multiple user inputs.
Deployment and Performance
Package applications for distribution. Measure inference speed, reduce model size, and implement fallback strategies for offline functionality.
